Saturday morning we went to the Troutts.  We wanted to check on the progress of the kitchen renovation and visit.  The kitchen looks so different - completely gutted.  Jim and Lauren were there.  I had not seen them since our trip to the lake in early summer.  They had not met Katherine yet. 

To this point Luke has pretty much refused to walk on his foot.  We knew if anyone could persuade him it would be Pop.  Well, it worked.  Bill bribed him to walk by giving him a toy.  If he wanted a different toy from the cabinet he had to take two steps and so forth.  By the time we left he was walking from the den back to their bedroom to get Nene.  Amazing how things happen...we determined he had been pulling our leg (no pun intended) for a while.  Although we could tell it still bothered him he could bear weight on it without any problems. 

We all went to eat lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings in Gallatin.  Luke stayed with Nene and Pop while Paul, Katherine and I came home.  Paul and I took the opportunity to rest, watch football and get some things done around the house.  Paula brought Luke home in time for supper. Of course, he had a great time with them, as always!
