Back to Legos

We had intentions of going back to the house today, but the weather did not cooperate.  Katherine had a birthday party this afternoon so we thought the boys would go to Gallatin to put up Luke's basketball goal while the girls did the party.  It started raining during church and really didn't let up.  Paul decided it would be a wasted trip since they wouldn't be able to get in the house and do anything because of the floors.  We all went in Target for a bit after lunch to buy a birthday present and get some other stuff.

Paul and Luke pretty much got Luke's room completely packed up with the exception of clothes and some of his Legos that are already put together.  Luke had been saving a big Lego set he got for Christmas for when he sees Uncle Andrew again. We told him we weren't sure when Andrew would be back in Tennessee so he decided to go ahead and start working on it tonight.  Katherine was right there with him every step of the way.  This is a pretty big set so it will take him a while to get it done. So, now we have Luke and Katherine's room packed as well as pretty much everything from the foyer, dining and living rooms.  All the furniture is empty and ready to be loaded in a moving truck.  The playroom, kitchen and our bedroom is another story!
