All we can say is how blessed we are to have our sweet Luke! He makes us laugh everyday. He has such a sweet disposition. He is still a fairly laid back child. He enjoys playing trains, tractors, and blocks. Reading is still one of his favorite things to do. "Shows" are also becoming quite popular with him. He asks to watch something on TV several times a day. We usually let him watch 30 minutes - 1 hour per day. Sometimes he does not watch anything and he is fine with it.
Some of Luke's accomplishments:
- Count to 20
- Knows all the shapes including semi-circle, octogan and so on
- Knows all the colors
- Can recite the alphabet
- Can spell his name
- Recognizes every letter and knows what sound it makes
- Has memorized a couple of books
- Is 99.9% potty trained and has been for a few months
- Constantly asks how things work
- Knows his right from left
- Recognizes his surroundings and is able to tell us how to get to the Troutts and Nonna's
- Loves to sing and dance
- Knows what town he lives in as well as where most everyone in our extended family lives
- Has a very sweet relationship with Katherine that is blossoming every day
