It has been an interesting few days at the Troutt's. Luke started not feeling well Saturday night/ Sunday morning. We thought it might be because he was cutting his tooth so we went on to church. He didn't run a temp that day or Monday morning so he went to daycare. They called me from daycare and said he was running a low-grade temp and just acted like he didn't feel well. Since Nonna works close by she went and picked up some Tylenol and took it to him. I left work a little early to pick him up. He was pitiful. He dozed off an on all afternoon and evening. The main reason we knew he didn't feel well was because he did not have an appetite at all.
His temp went to over 102 Monday night. Fortunately Nonna and Nana were able to do shifts keeping Luke yesterday so both Paul and I could go to work. We took Luke to to the doctor yesterday afternoon since he didn't seem to be getting any better. After being there two hours the doctor finally determined that we were going to let Luke fight it. His blood work was normal. She didn't want to give him any unnecessary antibiotics. He seemed to be acting better last night so hopefully he is on the mend. I am home with him today which is nice.
Paul was in the field yesterday and got eaten by chiggers! I have never seen anything like it. They are all over him. So needless to say he was miserable last night and unable to sleep well. So between Luke's illness, Paul's chiggers and my sore throat we aren't doing too well around here!
