New Toys and Other Happenings

I love my new toy!

Luke loves to turn the pages on the book.

So we are a little behind on updating Luke's toy collection. He has been using an exersaucer, activity area at daycare and the church nursery for months now. We kept debating whether we should get him one for home or not. We thought since he played in them so much at other places he probably did not need one here. Well even though he probably will not use it but a couple of months we caved and bought him one Friday night. I think it was a good decision...he loves it and has played in it so much already!

We also "found" a music table he was given at a shower and put that together this weekend. So he has new things to play with. Luke is still doing his inch worm crawling. It is too funny!

Paul spent most of the morning yesterday digging up our yard. We have mentioned in other posts how much landscaping we inherited when we bought this house. Well, we decided to scale down a little bit and reduce the size of a very large bed we had in the backyard. We borrowed Grandpa's tractor and Paul went to work. Luke and I watched and he feel asleep to the hum of the tractor. Too cute.... We stopped working when UT football came on and never quite made it back outside again. There were too many good games on yesterday. So we just have to seed and straw the area today, hopefully before it rains.

We are trying a new church today....Long Hollow Baptist. For convenience sake I hope we immediately feel at home but who knows what God has in store for us.

Sorry I missed you guys on Saturday. For some reason, my cell phone did not ring when it was in my pocket. Hope you enjoyed your trip despite the game.
