30th Birthday Celebration!

This is my first blog. Paul has done all the writing to this point. Last night was Paul's 30th Birthday party. We had a great turnout. It was fun being able to celebrate with with our friends and family. My mom and Paul's mom did a lot to help us out. They did most of the cooking which was fabulous. We couldn't have done it without them. Kitty, Paul's grandmother, made his favorite - strawberry angel food cake. It was a big hit! Planning a party is always a bit nerve wrecking, especially since we have had such an up and down week. It was fun to host everyone at our house. The party was great motivation for us to get a lot done that probably wouldn't have otherwise.
Paul still has another week to relish his 20's! I think we are going to have an extended celebration. I don't know about Paul, but I am hoping to get back to a somewhat normal schedule this week.

We were so glad to have some of our
friends from church to celebrate with
us.
