Kindergarten Graduation!

Well,  I cant' hardly believe that Luke finished Kindergarten tonight!  This year has gone by so fast.  We have had a wonderful experience at DA this year!  He couldn't have had better teachers or environment to learn in.  He excelled in all subjects exceeding expectations in all areas.  We are most proud of his reading progress.  He has been in the advanced reading group all year and has made consistent strides at each nine week assessment.  He is currently reading and comprehending at a 2nd grade level!  His teacher also did an excellent job with challenging him in Math. He loves math and does very well with it. She would always give him more difficult home work to keep him challenged.  We just hope he keeps his love of leaning!

The Graduation was a very sweet ceremony.  The kids sang lots of songs.  They sang one in Spanish as well as did the Lord's Prayer in Spanish.  Paul was very under the weather and actually had to get up and leave during it.  Katherine had a short-lived stomach bug Friday night/ Saturday so we feel like Paul might be coming down with it.  Even though Paul missed some of the festivities it was still a good night! We are so proud of him!!!
